Helenium Clinic is led by Jola Kaczmarek, BA, BA, MNIMH, Dip Phyt, a Clinical Medical Herbalist trained in UK and European natural health clinics and pre-hospital emergency care
About Helenium Clinic
“I was drawn to medical herbalism as a discipline after experiencing its impact firsthand.
I was a poorly child, debilitated by a chronic respiratory condition that continued for years, until I was introduced to a physician who identified the root cause. They suggested natural protocols alongside surgery, and that integrative approach restored my health.
Now, it’s my turn to work with people dealing with stubborn health issues. Whatever brings you here, we take time to understand the story behind your symptoms: the patterns and root causes that others might miss.
Through evidence-based herbal medicine and nutrition, we address what’s driving your health concerns, not just what appears on the surface.”
Every symptom tells a story. We take time to understand what's driving your health concerns - the patterns, triggers, and root causes that connect everything together.
At Helenium Clinic, that means:
Understanding your full health picture and health timeline
Evidence-based herbal prescriptions tailored to your unique biochemistry
Clear explanations and practical guidance you can actually follow
Ongoing care and review as your health evolves
Our Philosophy
Approach
Jola practises clinical herbal medicine as an evidence-informed healthcare, working alongside conventional treatment or as a standalone approach. She brings together traditional herbal knowledge with modern phytochemical research and deep understanding of how body systems connect and influence each other.
Clinical Expertise
With in-depth knowledge of over 150 medicinal herbs and their specific, often synergistic actions, Jola formulates individualised prescriptions tailored to each person's unique biochemistry and health picture. She looks at how imbalances develop over time and which processes in your body need support to restore health.
Training and Professional Standards
Jola trained with leading educators in both herbal and conventional medicine, including Simon Mills, Marion Mackonchie, Anita Ralph, Dr Chris Etheridge, Dr Phil Deakin, and Dedj Leibrandt. She regularly engages with the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy (CPP) and College of Medicine and Integrated Health.
As a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH) - one of Europe’s oldest professional herbal medicine bodies - she adheres to rigorous professional, ethical, and safety standards in clinical practice.
