About Helenium clinic
Helenium clinic is led by Jola Kaczmarek, BA, MNIMH, Dip Phyt, a qualified Medical Herbalist and Clinical Phytotherapist.
Jola practices clinical herbal medicine, blending traditional herbal knowledge with evidence-based health practices and modern phytochemical research. Her approach focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of ill health — not just the symptoms — to help you regain balance and get well again.
As a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH), one of the oldest professional bodies of its kind in Europe, Jola upholds the highest professional standards in the safe and effective use of herbal medicine.
A Personalised approach
Jola brings a deep understanding of over 150 medicinal herbs and their unique actions, allowing her to create herbal formulations that are bespoke to each patient. Her role is to connect the dots between the body systems, their influence on one another and how imbalances may arise.
What happens during consultation
Clinical phytotherapy is a comprehensive, whole-person discipline that can support the treatment of almost all conditons, either as as a stand-alone therapy or alongside conventional treatments.
During your first consultation (up to 2 hours), Jola conducts a detailed discussion about your health and medical history, followed by a clinical examination.
This process helps her understand where imbalance or dysfunction may occur. Using this insight, Jola develops an individualised treatment plan designed to support your body’s natural healing processes.
Continuity of care is maintained throughout shorter (up to 45 min) follow-up consultations.
